Relocation of Playground for Daycare

The Greenwood School day care playground has been relocated to the North side of the Metro 3 building along Belcrest Road. The stairs that once led to the area where the playground is now located have been removed and the flower boxes along Belcrest Road have been joined to form a protective wall above the playground. New state of the art playground matting has been installed between the building and the protective wall. The new play area has been equipped with all new equipment and landscaping. In addition, a sound baffling wall made of shatter resistant acrylic panels in tubular steel frames has been installed parallel to the building and Toledo Road.

This new state-of-the-art playground has been painstakingly designed by GSA playground experts – day care equipment and playground architects and engineers, horticulturist, etc. – and provides the children enrolled in the program with a wonderful, colorful and safe play area.
