Cheryl D. Handy is the Leasing Director for Prince George’s Metro Center, Inc., which is developing University Town Center. As the Leasing Director, she is responsible for leasing, lease negotiations, and marketing of University Town Center’s current 1.4 million square feet, and the planned additional two million square feet of office space. She joined Prince George's Metro Center, Inc. in 1994 shortly after retiring from active duty in the United States Army. Ms. Handy is also the Director of the Business & Technology Growth Center, an incubator for start-up companies. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland at College Park, in 1997 and has 16 years experience in telecommunications, human relations, technical support, and computer operations.
